Hello everyone let me introduce myself and my small business.
A little bit about me
My name is Charlotte, I am 25 years old and I graduated in graphic design.
Now, I am starting as a freelance illustrator.
I started drawing at the age of 7 or 8. I loved it from the start, I loved trying out lots of new techniques.
I was lucky enough to grow up without social media and with a mom who was a book lover who read me stories every night and with whom I did a lot of crafts.
My parents were also very careful about my screen time and how I used my device when I was old enough to have one.
Social media like Snapchat and instagram came along...
Even though I am not born with social media, today at 25 I still struggle to limit my screen time and use it effectively.
That where my inspiration came from, thinking about all the little ones being born into this society where technology is developing so quickly.
What's motived me to start with freelancing ?
As an adult who already struggling... I think about all this little ones being born into this society where technology is developing so quickly. From that I was thinking about create and illustrate to help developing some children's game.
My Message
Just a reminder : Remember the value of screen-free moments - Like being with others and talking, playing or creating together.
My purpose
I want every children's game I create whether it's a puzzle, coloring book or a board game to celebrate quality, screen-free family time.
I am up for working on any project that links games and children's development. I have develop three fictive projects for kids and a small guide to screen time that you can see here in my portfolio.
